We are BBB Cycling
We are BBB cycling and you might have seen us cycling around. Whether you go climbing, gravel riding, racing, touring, mountain biking or use your electric bike to get around town: we are there with you. Sometimes in plain sight, sometimes more in the background.
Our well-thought-through parts, clothing, accessories, and tools are made for cyclists all over the world. With that typical down-to-earth Dutch view, we design products that make your ride more fun, safer or faster. Handy and smart details that work, in the real world, those are things that make us happy.
As we are cyclists ourselves, we know what it's like to ride your bike to work through all kinds of weather, improve that personal best or ride further than you ever did. At these moments you have to be able to rely on your gear and they just have to work, right?
And almost every cyclist has a BBB product somewhere. A handy pump, that trusty water bottle, smart lamp, or maybe your helmet. Or when you sometimes tinker with your bicycle, chances are you use a BBB tool at times.
Because we may not say it out loud often, but for many cyclists, we are an indispensable part of every ride.
Part of your ride for 25 years and counting
We've been around for 25 years and have been part of many people's rides during this time. As much as we are humble, we are also very proud of who we are and what we do.
BBB Cycling was established in 1998 by two passionate cyclists, Chris Koppert and Frank Moons. Just after their retirement from cycling at a high level in the ’90s. Being both former cyclists themselves, they understood exactly what cyclists needed.
This gave them the ability to know to develop high-quality cycling products. With many great memories and some awesome milestones behind us, we now distribute our roughly 1500 unique products to over 40 different countries.
The art of product design
We work hard every day to become better than the day before. Our products are always evolving and we pay much attention to our product design and development process. Because we want to end up with the best possible results. We can only do that by keeping our design process in our own hands.
Our team of designers and product developers in our headquarters in the Netherlands works constantly on new product ideas. They try to improve existing products and to create a constant flow of development. New products often start with an idea from a colleague, ambassador, dealer, or distributor. Feedback, open-mindedness, and creative thinking get us started.
The design process takes up months, sometimes years, and contains many moments of testing, redesigning, feedback, and testing again. All to end up with the best possible version of a product.
Backyard Crew
The BBB Cycling Backyard Crew consists of pros, adventurers, discoverers, survivors, fanatics, and life lovers on a bike. All cyclists that we support in their development.
We support these ambassadors and teams not only to become the best, but to develop. We give them the possibility to ride with our products, whatever their starting point might be.
Our backyard crew consists of inspiring people that are like-minded. Every member of our backyard crew is working on his own journey through the world of cycling. May it be as a professional cycling team on worldtour level, or as an individual chasing their dreams on the bike.
